Paper of Distinction at SOCC'11 posted by Dongyan Xu on 10-31-2011
Our paper on VM transport performance optimization entitled "Opportunistic Flooding to Improve TCP Transmit Performance in Virtualized Clouds" (by Sahan Gamage, Ardalan Kangarlou, Ramana Kompella, and Dongyan Xu) was recognized as one of the three "Papers of Distinction" at the 2nd ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing (SOCC'11).

We, in collaboration with colleagues at DOCOMO USA Labs, successfully demonstrated our OpenFlow-based VIOLIN virtual cloud infrastructure at the 9th GENI Engineering Conference on November 3 in Washington, DC. Our demo show can be viewed here.
